In real estate, new projects often get all the attention with acquisitions, groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings. But the real secret sauce of long-term success is what happens after the deal closes: property and asset management.
That is why I am so excited to share that my sister Kelly Chang Levine is transitioning back to Westlake Realty Group after her last maternity leave as our Director of Property Management.
Kelly is not just a manager. She is a LP (like myself) in all our deals with deep knowledge across development and asset management. She knows how to balance the big picture with the day-to-day details that drive performance. Most importantly, she cares about doing things the right way.
As we build and scale our Industrial Outdoor Storage platform, having Kelly back on the team is our unfair advantage. IOS may look simple from the outside with gravel yards, trucks, and equipment, but behind the scenes, great management is what transforms these assets into stable, income-producing investments.
Working together as siblings means we share the same family values of stewardship, accountability, and long-term thinking. For us, this is not just business. It is personal.
Excited to be building the future of Westlake side by side again. Welcome back, Kelly!
